FAQ
Answers to the questions people ask most
Everything beginners ask before getting started — in plain words, no jargon.
Is the Crypto Academy really free?
+
Yes, 100% free. All 30 modules, quizzes and simulators are available with no payment and no card. You can read each module's introduction freely; creating a free account (in seconds) unlocks the full module, the quizzes and saves your progress across devices.
Where should a complete beginner start?
+
Start with the fundamentals: what blockchain is, the difference between Bitcoin and Ethereum, then stablecoins. Move on to security (wallet and seed phrase) and the step-by-step buying module. You can also filter modules by level: beginner, intermediate, advanced.
How do I buy my first crypto with Deblock?
+
The dedicated module walks through every step: create your Deblock account, verify your identity, deposit euros via SEPA transfer, then buy Bitcoin or Ethereum in minutes. It's explained step by step, no traps.
How do I sell or withdraw my crypto to cash?
+
Selling means converting your crypto back to euros inside your Deblock account; withdrawing means sending those euros to your current account by transfer. The buying module also covers the reverse flow and the right reflexes to avoid an address or network mistake.
Do I have to pay tax on my crypto?
+
In France, crypto gains are generally subject to the 30% flat tax, declared via form 2086. The tax module explains the taxable event, the declaration and the tools that help. It's educational and not a substitute for personalised advice.
How does Deblock's 4% yield work?
+
Deblock advertises a 4% annual yield on certain stablecoins. The dedicated module explains where that yield comes from (stablecoins, lending, DeFi via the Morpho protocol) and, above all, the risks involved, explained clearly.
How do I avoid scams and secure my crypto?
+
Two key reflexes: never share your seed phrase, and check every link and address before acting. The scams module covers the 6 most common traps (phishing, rug pull, fake airdrop…) and the security module explains wallets, private keys and best practices.
Is Deblock trustworthy and regulated?
+
Deblock is registered as a digital asset service provider (PSAN) with France's AMF and operates within the European MiCA framework. The regulation module explains what that concretely changes for protecting your crypto, and our dedicated page reviews its reliability.
Do I need an account to follow the Academy?
+
You read each module's introduction freely. For the full module, to take the quizzes and keep your progress, a free account is required — it also lets you join the community. No card is ever requested.
